Join me for a peaceful & insightful Forest Bathing walk at Macclesfield Forest, on the first day of Spring!
Welcome in Spring on the Equinox and notice the changes in nature and within yourself. The Spring Equinox is a celebration of new life, new beginnings, and a return to balance. After the slower pace of Winter, animals awaken from their slumber and new life begins to appear all around.
During the session you will be guided mindfully through the forest, noticing all of your senses and taking part in nature connection activities along the way. Each activity is an invitation to explore your surroundings curiously and to rest and connect with the forest, feeling fully in the present moment.
Forest Bathing is an ancient wellness practice originating in Japan in the 1980's. The Japanese use the name 'Shinrin - Yoku', which literally means to bathe among the trees...no swimming costumes…
